Labor Day at the Lake.

When I think about Labor Day, I always think of Spirit Lake, Iowa.  This is where we spent every Labor Day growing up… some of my favorite memories.  Isn’t it peaceful?  Wishing we could be there today with family and friends (the Lake Crew).  Happy Labor Day!  I hope you can enjoy time with friends and family today!

Peaceful Great Falls.

I was going through old photos last night and found this one from Great Falls Park in Virginia. Back when my husband and I were dating, I visited him in Virginia and we went and explored Great Falls. It was the BEST day! It was pouring down rain when we first got there… so of course we got soaked. That only made it even more fun! I loved this quiet stream and bridge. I’d love to go back some day!! Isn’t it peaceful???
