State House Through the Crepe Myrtles.

State House Through the Crepe Myrtles.

I was asked today to make a compilation of some historical places in South Carolina. Luckily, South Carolina is full of historical places, so this wasn’t too hard. It was nice going back through my old photos and picking out South Carolina favorites. Decided to share this one of the South Carolina State House in Columbia. I used to walk through the State House grounds to get to class and couldn’t resist a little photo shoot when I saw how pretty the Crepe Myrtles were! They’re my favorite! Coming from Iowa, I had never experienced them until we moved here. When we buy our first house, the first thing I want to do is plant several Crepe Myrtle trees.
